Solid Leather Backgammon Board with Full 2" Checkers
 
The design ~  Handle, latches, cube, dice, hinges size all resemble Asprey of London, but there is no Makers Mark on the board.  H.P.G or H.P.Gibsons name is on the insert which is a maker of fine games in London.  I have not been able to verify but it is possible that Geoffrey Parker designed this line for H.P.Gibson like they have done for so many other companies.    
 
The most unique feature of this gorgeous board is the number of checkers.  18 of each color.  Typically a set will have 15 and I have seen a few with a spare checker.  This one has a full 18 checkers.
